Gameday Bag Charm

Show off your team spirit with this gameday bag charm that is perfect for adding a little personality to your bag or backpack. Whether you are headed to the stadium, a tailgate party, or watching the game with friends, this charm brings a pop of color and team pride to your look!

Instructions:

1. Trace the Star Pattern:

Place your star pattern on the fabric.
Use disappearing ink marker to trace the star shape onto the fabric with a quarter inch seam allowance.
Repeat to create a second star.

2. Cut and Sew the Star:

Cut out the two traced star shapes.
Place stars right sides together and sew around the edges, leaving a small opening for stuffing.

3. Stuff the Star:

Turn the star right side out.
Fill with fiberfill until plump but not overstuffed.
Hand-sew the opening closed.

4. Prepare the Ribbon:

Cut a length of ribbon or trim.
Thread beads onto the ribbon as desired.

5. Add the eyelet:

Use the Vario Creative Tool to punch a hole at the top of the star.
Apply a colored eyelet to secure the hole.

6. Create the Belting Addition:

Cut an 8-inch length of Dritz Poly-Bro 1" belting.
Treat ends of belting with Dritz fray check
Fold belting in half and insert into the Dritz key fob hardware with running pliers to create a secondary charm for the keychain.

7. Assemble the Bag Charm:

Thread the ribbon through the key ring.
Attach both the fabric star and the belting charm to the keyring.

8. Finish:

Adjust ribbon and beads so they hang nicely.
Add your bag charm to your clear bag and show off!
