I take a risk when I don't use Dritz
"Dritz threads give more thread per penny; when I've had to use other brands I simply fail to get the same amount of work done. Prices were comparable, but not the thread amount. Its texture and feel is also more pleasing to my fingers as it runs through my fingers: it's softer somehow than comparable products and has proven more durable."

- Elastic thread is a very thin elastic thread used to create gathering, shirring and smocking on lightweight fabrics. Our spool can be used on the bobbin of the machine and sew multiple rows to achieve the desired effect. Elastic cording is a light, stretch elastic cord. It is great for making buttonhole loops and can also be used to create gathers by sewing zigzag over the cord on wrong side of fabric.
